About This Work

I painted this landscape as a memory of a summer day when the countryside seems to open endlessly beneath the sky. A flowering bush rises from the warm field, surrounded by wild grasses and scattered touches of color.

I was drawn to the contrast between the vast, quiet horizon and the richness of life in the foreground. Loose, expressive brushstrokes and layers of color allow the landscape to remain alive rather than descriptive. For me, this painting is about the simple feeling of standing in an open field, surrounded by light, warmth and the fleeting beauty of summe
